These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and PressBookie LLC ("PressBookie," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the PressBookie application and all related services, including PressBookie Live (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PressBookie is a golf scoring, match tracking, and live streaming application. PressBookie is not a gambling platform, casino, sportsbook, or financial services application. The Service does not:
- Transfer, process, hold, collect, or distribute real money or currency of any kind
- Facilitate financial transactions between users
- Accept deposits or make payments
- Determine or enforce the outcome of any wager
The match tracking features allow golfers to record informal wagers consistent with the longstanding tradition of social golf (e.g., Nassau, skins, presses). Any financial settlement between players occurs entirely offline, outside of the application, and is solely the responsibility of the participating parties. PressBookie LLC expressly disclaims any responsibility for the legality, enforceability, or outcome of any informal wagering arrangements between users in their respective jurisdictions. Users are solely and exclusively responsible for ensuring their activities comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
The Service is available to golfers of all ages. Users under the age of 13 should use the Service only with parental or guardian guidance and supervision. The match wagering tracking features are intended for use by adults in jurisdictions where such informal social wagering is lawful. By using those features, you represent that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to engage in such activities.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without consent, please contact us immediately at support@pressbookie.com.
PressBookie is a golf application appropriate for players of all ages. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following conduct is strictly prohibited in connection with your use of the Service, including any content broadcast via PressBookie Live:
- Illegal content. Any content that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law.
- Sexual content. Explicit, obscene, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content of any kind.
- Content harmful to minors. Any content that exploits, sexualizes, endangers, or harms children or minors of any age, including CSAM and grooming behavior. Such violations will be reported immediately to the NCMEC CyberTipline and law enforcement as required by federal law.
- Harassment or threats. Content intended to harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any individual.
- Hate speech. Content promoting hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Impersonation. Falsely representing yourself as another person or entity.
- Copyright infringement. Broadcasting content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrighted music.
- Interference. Activity that disrupts, degrades, or impairs the proper functioning of the Service.
The application itself is appropriate for all golfers. Content restrictions above apply specifically to conduct and content transmitted through the Service.
PressBookie LLC does not track users across third-party apps or websites and does not share data with advertising networks or data brokers for tracking purposes.
PressBookie Live is an optional paid subscription that includes two features: Go Live (live video broadcasting) and Moments (short video clip capture). By using either feature, you additionally agree to the following:
Go Live — Live Streaming
- You are solely and exclusively responsible for all content you broadcast.
- Live streams and recordings are processed by Cloudflare Stream and may be retained for up to 30 days following the conclusion of your broadcast.
- You grant PressBookie LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to transmit and store your stream solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.
- PressBookie LLC may terminate any stream, remove content, or suspend access at any time without notice for any Terms violation.
- Subscription billing and cancellation are governed exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play Store terms. PressBookie LLC does not process payments directly.
- Stream quality is not guaranteed. Live streaming quality depends entirely on your cellular or Wi-Fi network connection. Golf courses frequently have limited or variable network coverage. PressBookie LLC expressly disclaims any warranty or representation regarding stream quality, latency, continuity, or availability. Poor network conditions are not grounds for a refund or service credit.
Moments — Video Clip Capture
- Moments are short video clips of up to 30 seconds recorded using your device's native camera and uploaded to your active round.
- You are solely and exclusively responsible for all content you record and post as a Moment.
- By posting a Moment, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have the right to record all individuals and content appearing in the clip; (b) all individuals recorded have consented to being filmed and to their likeness being shared with other participants in your round; and (c) the clip does not contain any unlawful, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.
- You grant PressBookie LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to upload, store, and deliver your Moment solely for the purpose of sharing it with participants in your active round.
- You retain ownership of all content you record. PressBookie LLC does not claim any ownership rights over your Moments.
- Moments are automatically and permanently deleted after 48 hours. PressBookie LLC does not retain Moments beyond this period.
- PressBookie LLC reserves the right to remove any Moment at any time, without notice, that it determines in its sole discretion violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.
- Moments are only accessible to participants in your active round via your private round code. Moments are not publicly discoverable.
Prohibited Content — Both Features
The following content is strictly prohibited in any live stream or Moment and will result in immediate removal and potential account suspension:
- Content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context
- Nudity, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any individual
- Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Content infringing any third-party intellectual property rights
The Service and all content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and branding are the exclusive property of PressBookie LLC, protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express prior written consent.

PressBookie LLC complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To report copyright infringement, submit a written notice to support@pressbookie.com identifying the work, the infringing material, your contact information, a good faith statement, and your signature under penalty of perjury. We will respond promptly and take appropriate action including removal of infringing content and termination of repeat infringers.
If you witness content violating these Terms — particularly content harmful to minors — report it using the flag button on the viewer page or by contacting support@pressbookie.com. Content involving child sexual abuse material will be reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
PressBookie LLC reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms or conduct harmful to other users, third parties, or PressBookie LLC. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the application. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PRESSBOOKIE LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRESSBOOKIE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL PRESSBOOKIE LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PRESSBOOKIE LLC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN DOLLARS ($10.00).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PressBookie LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you broadcast or transmit through the Service.
Informal Resolution. Before initiating any formal proceeding, contact us at support@pressbookie.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
Binding Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You waive any right to a jury trial.
Class Action Waiver. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND PRESSBOOKIE LLC AGREE THAT CLAIMS MAY ONLY BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Exceptions. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law provisions. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dublin, Ohio.
Entire Agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and PressBookie LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver. No waiver is effective unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of PressBookie LLC.
No Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without prior written consent. PressBookie LLC may assign without restriction.
Force Majeure. PressBookie LLC shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Third-Party Platforms. If you downloaded or accessed PressBookie through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and PressBookie LLC only. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms, are not responsible for the Service or its content, and have no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the App Store or Play Store terms, these Terms shall govern to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to Terms. We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
